That´s a real shame, IMO it´s awesome to not have a native client that
you have to maintain for every platform. I think it works great, and
being platform independent is super!

I agree. I think if you could send a patch to fix this and maintain the client, that'd be awesome ;-)
(There might have been fixes to this issue - I know people tried, but I'm not up-to-date wrt the latest status of that client).
