<div dir="ltr">I am not sure that there actually a network configuration issue.<br>"ip addr" shows that the ovirtmgmt bridge functions correctly (it gets an ip.)<br>yet, I don't know if it's related or not - creating the host from the engine itself (or during the setup process) fails with an error.<br>

<br>
The network interface issue has nothing to do with the engine.<br>
The engine just needs a bridge named ovirtmgmt on the host (localhost in your case).<br>
