I initially installed oVirt without Gluster management support. Now I want to add it in. What is the best method for doing this? Recommended way is to select 'Both' for 'ApplicationMode' during engine-setup.<br>

But if you want to do this after engine-setup, you need to tweak a database entry. You could find an option_name called 'ApplicationMode' in the vdc_options table, change the value of the field to 255, then restart ovirt-engine service. Now you should able to manage both virt and gluster in oVirt.<div class="im">

Just set check the gluster checkbox on the cluster edit page, put the node/host into maintenance and reinstall it. It will install the gluster bits and you'll be able to add volumes.<br>

This is possible only if oVirt is installed in 'Both' (Virt+Gluster) mode.<br>
