<div>I just tried to attach a copy of a disk (made for backup purposes) to a VM. Everything works well except live snapshot deletion doesn't work anymore. The issue is that the disk has voltype=SHARED, instead of LEAF. Live snapshot merging doesn't work on


 shared disks.</div>

<div>Could someone clarify, why does disk copying make disks shared? Is it a bug, or there is a hidden reason for that?</div>
