Intel Shanghai Workshop:
We still could use some help in promoting this event.
- Blog posts
- Twitter and other social media buzz generation
- send out invitations to virt folks in your companies, and other
contacts in Shanghai

Actions:
- Kyle Mestery will publicize within Cisco to try and drive some interest from Cisco folks in
China to attend
- Jon Benedict will make some internal noise and outreach on Twitter
- Kyle Mestery can throw up a post on the Open at Cisco blog
- Theron to provide bit.ly links for tracking Workshop interest via twitter:

- LH will forward template paragraph to working group for use in their
writing

Current promo includes:
- Intel has issued invitations to previous attendees of Beijing workshop
and to their Shanghai employees.
- Intel has created a news article on the workshop that went out this week



Open Cloud Event coinciding with VMWorld:

Event co-located with VMunderground (segue into VMunderground on Sunday
night in same venue - http://www.vmunderground.com/)

- Focus on oVirt, OpenStack, CloudStack, SDN, KVM, and all things cloudy
- Need additional sponsorship to hold this event
- Want to highlight HW aspect, as well
- Cloud event will segue into VMunderground, opportunities for sponsors,
etc. to give talks in the evening during VMunderground
- Approaching folks active in OpenStack space in Bay Area - Colin
McNamara is on board to give a talk at the event, Sean Roberts from
Yahoo! may be interested as well
- Targeting 60K in budget for sponsorship - 6 additional sponsors at 10K
each for the rest of the event
- Give top billing sponsorship to oVirt board companies
- NetApp: Jon Benedict would need to get funding from standards group at
NetApp working with Freya
- Cisco: Need a sponsor prospectus to shop this event. Management dates,
venue, greater level of sponsorship for board companies, projects
targeting for exhibition, etc., guaranteed lectures spots for board
companies, space to demo hardware, meals, breaks, etc.
- prospectus for sponsor companies to be reviewed by this group asap.  will be sent direct.
