Attendees - Intel: Susie Li, Robert Chen; Red Hat: Leslie Hawthorn,
Theron Conrey

Registrations:
- Currently at 55 attendees.
- Target for at least 100, as the venue can hold 200.

Promoting the Event:
- Susie has sent a note to her team at Intel encouraging them to register.

- Cisco and NetApp have also helped to promote on their Cisco Open Blog
and via Twitter.
- Red Hat's sales engineering team is reaching out to customers.
- Theron would like help issuing invitations to the Shanghai users
group. Would like translation of his English invitation and reply back
to the thread in the Shanghai LUG list. Theron will send link to Robert
who will help with this task.
-- Robert will look for an existing list member who can post to the list
and follow up conversations.
- Any other user groups in the area that we can reach out to?
-- 2 universities within 10 minutes drive from campus. Reach out to
higher education team at Intel to invite students to the event.
- Promotional article is still in process.
-- Small article was published with several technologies:
http://os.51cto.com/art/201304/388704.htm

technologies.

Schedule:
- Schedule has been posted at http://wiki.ovirt.org/Intel_Workshop_May_2013
- First day is more user/operator focused
- Second day is developer focused with a hands on lab in the second room
-- Can move the Hands on Lab to the training room if it is not booked,
otherwise have some tables in the Self paced labs room. (May 9th only)

so cannot park in employee lot. People can find parking on the street.
Ops manager will provide a more formal response.
- Intel will send out a reminder email to the attendees to give them
logistics information about parking, map to the facility and access to
campus.

Attendee Gifts:
- Black tee shirts with the oVirt logo. Red Hat will provide.
- LH will see if more budget is available for notebooks and pens.
- Theron will reach out to the marketing working group to see if they
can provide notebooks and pens for the attendees.

Shuttle Payment:
- LH will see if this cost can be paid by Red Hat China.
-- Susie will send over vendor information to LH to share with the Red
Hat China team.

Cheers,
LH
