Based on what I've seen so far to e.g. rsvp@ovirt.org (an open-to-any-poster list) and in the moderation queues, it will be nearly zero time until the spam starts. It's several pieces a day, each list, some days several multiples of that, and it seems to be growing in intensity.
indeed, on vdsm-devel it's several every day, it's really annoying.
It's also annoying to register or wait for the moderator to authorize your request. Ignore me but think of someone random from qemu/libvirt/whatever that wants to report something or participate in a discussion. Filtering 3-5 spam emails a day is not much.
