Great news! We'll get them added to the mailing lists & to the workshop attendee list w/in the next few hours. That should put us at 79 RSVPs, btw. - Karsten Carl Trieloff <cctrieloff@redhat.com> wrote: Mark, I have added you to http://www.ovirt.org/about/sponsors-and-supporters/ Also, as discussed, if you can let me know you will be your representative on the board. Karsten, Robyn, Can you please add Mark and Dustin to the relative mailing lists. kind regards Carl. On 10/06/2011 09:55 AM, Carl Trieloff wrote:
I have just got off the phone and they are very excited to join the project and have indicated that they will not be able to meet the strategic resource count day one (probably start with around 3 from what I understood), but will build the contribution team up as quickly as they can. They will start contribution in areas where they can day one and grow from there.
Canonical will be sending 2 resources to the workshop.
Please join in welcoming them.
kind regards Carl. _______________________________________________ Board mailing list Board@ovirt.org http://lists.ovirt.org/mailman/listinfo/board

Cheers, and thanks all for the welcome notes. We're quite excited to be a part of the project. We've been focused almost exclusively on KVM as our hypervisor since late 2007, and it's exciting to see folks rallying around it, fleshing out the rest of the free software virtualization stack. I unfortunately won't be able to make the kickoff event (it's the exact same week as our twice-a-year Ubuntu Developer Summit where we design our next release). But we will have two representatives from Canonical -- Mark Baker and Dann Frazier. I'm sure you'll make them quite welcome, and enjoy their friendly dispositions and outstanding expertise ;-) Cheers, -- :-Dustin Dustin Kirkland Manager, Systems Integration Corporate Services Canonical, LTD

Thanks, answered my earlier question, I'll swap Dann in to the attendee list where I had you, and keep Mark in there. cheers - Karsten -- name: Karsten 'quaid' Wade, Sr. Community Gardener team: Red Hat Community Architecture & Leadership uri: http://communityleadershipteam.org http://TheOpenSourceWay.org gpg: AD0E0C41
