It wasn't reposync who failed, it was repoman when trying to fetch:
'rec:http://resources.ovirt.org/pub/ovirt-4.1-pre/rpm/el7' :

while another attempt using plain.resources.ovirt.org worked.

To avoid confusion from users of repoman (mostly extra sources in OST, we should consider
default resources.ovirt.org as plain http, and redirect the UI to ui.resources.ovirt.org
