Hi,
In the "Future developments", it would be good to talk about the move to
OpenShift for some services and AlterWay's oVirt based hosting for
others. I'm happy to give you more details about this.
Also, I think the key transition in the past 6 months has been to a
community-oriented infra team which Karsten has led - some of the
challenges we've had (and still have) are how to expose enough of the
infrastructure for someone to prove themselves, then allowing people a
sand-box to prove themselves further, and finally growing a community
team to handle project infrastructure.
Another interesting story I think people will be interested in is the
way we have been working on the website, publicly seeking comments,
developing a theme in the open (on GitHub, even), and are now deploying
the new site to OpenShift. Garrett's done a great job on this.
Cheers,
Dave.

I'm currently on the hook to give this presentation. I haven't started
it yet, but my abstract is below. Any ideas/suggestions on things I
should include/cover/concentrate on/gloss over?
Thanks
Mike
oVirt Infrastructure Overview
An overview of the various infrastructure tools and services available
in the
ovirt.org domain. We’ll discuss various aspects from how
different tools are leveraged with a heavy focus on the use of Jenkins
for build and test automation, Gerrit for source code management, and
Puppet for configuring the various servers for different uses. We’ll
also discuss how we grew the infrastructure from a just a couple of EC2
hosts to where we are today, to where we’re planning to go in the
future.
This is primarily geared toward people interested in how we go about
managing and coordinating the various pieces of infrastructure in the
oVirt site. It will range from high level discussion of what we're
trying to accomplish to diving into some of the technical details. I'd
like this talk to be very interactive, but will be prepared to present
in the event there aren't a lot of questions.
