Hey,
since i got added as admin to the infra list, i started seeing multiple spam requests to get accepted to the list.
something happened past week or so, that spam emails started being sent or not filtered to -owner's of mailing lists. I don't remember seeing that before.
Or they were filtered before on your mailbox and sent since the beginning ?
Looking at the settings, there is: forward_auto_discards = 1
(not sure where to find it in the UI).
Could setting this to false/0 be a solution ?
its under privacy/sender filters "Should messages from non-members, which are automatically discarded, be forwarded to the list moderator?"
automatically discarded here means "known spammers with fixed sender addresses", not spam.
i've set that, but i'm still getting spam requests. the problem isn't with messages sent to the list, the problem is spammers sending requests to be added to the list, and i didn't see any option to block, other than maintaining manually a blacklist of emails.
