The is a new version of mock out with several improvements that augth to be interesting for us including a fix to one issue we've reported a while ago: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2018-28fdd00a4b We should update the repo snapshots we use on slaves to get the new mock version.
