A quick solution will be to add the 'forge author identity' to the project [1] But I'd like to make sure its not an issue with new permissions settings in gerrit, Shlomi - can you check? Also, IIRC all projects [2] should have an owner permissions that should allow the owner/maintainer to modify the permissions himself.
