Are there any plans to have additional resources for Jenkins? There is an almost constant queue of builds waiting to run. If we continue to develop automated testing, then this will only continue to get worse. We've already had to disable all gerrit integration which is not an ideal situation for continuous testing. Additional resources, whether they're EC2 or some other public cloud offering, or provided by one of the sponsor companies, would be a huge help.
Thanks
Mike
+10 on this.
I Keep battling with memory issues on ec2 and prolonged run times which cause an occasional failures. also, like mike said, it prevent us from running patches testing from gerrit and other automation jobs (which some require an actual physical server).
we need to find a hosting solution of sort for physical servers. the EC2 guests are very slow on performance (x2/x3 time to complete a job compared to physical we are used to), and can't run virt tests.
