Looks like this happens frequently. Is it possible to reduce the negative cache TTL of artifactory?
It's set to two hours currently (the default), it does not seem to me to be that much, how much time did it pass between you uploaded the new version and the last job failure?
I can't tell exactly, but I think it was longer than two hours last time that I uploaded a new artifact to Maven Central. I will check exactly next time. Two hours seem reasonable.
