Now that the hosting proposal is getting up to speed I'd like to
propose
that we install the new machines only through puppet.
A list of items we need to look at:
- User management
- Services
-- Jenkins master
-- Jenkins slaves
-- Gerrit
-- foreman?
foreman actually manage puppet, but of course puppet can hold foreman classes as well.
Anything else I forgot?
we can add any server we have, even gerrit or wiki, and make sure services are up.
for example, puppet can make sure gerrit service is up and running all the time..
or httpd service is running for
www.ovirt.org
ntpd will be a good idea for all servers we well.
