Hey,
I'm trying to create a new user account for the oVirt wiki, and it fails, as I'm not an administrator in the oVirt wiki. In the past I was able to create user accounts.
What should I do?
Sorry, the new extension overrode that configuration; I fixed it so users can create accounts for others again. (Hopefully I didn't break the other, new extension, still checking ...)
Users should be able to create there own now?
This is true, the ConfirmAccount extension is active. I have to write up how to use it, recruit more Bureaucrats, and fix the content on the wiki about how to create an account. I figured I'd leave the ability for people to create accounts for other people, so there are now two ways to get an account. The built-in obvious will be to do a request, which is what Dave Neary suggested; but any existing user can just add someone without having to bother a Bureaucrat, as before. - - Karsten - -- Karsten 'quaid' Wade, Sr. Analyst - Community Growth http://TheOpenSourceWay.org .^\ http://community.redhat.com @quaid (identi.ca/twitter/IRC) \v' gpg: AD0E0C41 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iD8DBQFQInVd2ZIOBq0ODEERAlM0AJ4/YHd2Aa6IqYAMibEEdN6upQfVigCgwuac dYACQGuZsPNVFxVRXTTK0Iw= =qUmj -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
