Seeing as the backups take all the space that is needed for resources.ovirt.org. I suggest moving them somewhere else, do we have a place where we know we have disk that dont have active data. Alternatively, do you want me to setup an area to where we can offload the " ovirt.org"-backups that is off site (hosted by me). -- /Alexander Rydekull

yes. we talked about it in the past. we can probably put it on alterway02.ovirt.org. (jenkins backups are already there). i suggest also moving the backups scripts to run from jenkins to increase visibility for errors. what do you mean by "active data"? alterway02 is currently running our production ovirt-engine instance (hosts puppet/foreman and soon resouces.ovirt.org as well). Well. we dont want to host backup data on nodes where we host services. Since backing the services up to the same place they run on is usually a bad idea. Thus, we want a offsite backup that just is reliable storage. On Sat, Jul 20, 2013 at 6:45 PM, Eyal Edri <eedri@redhat.com> wrote:

yes, this is the better solution of course, i was just proposing a solution with our current infra. if we can get offsite storage service for backups that will be great. Eyal. ----- Original Message -----
