Hi Infra, I made a mistake and signed in to gerrit.ovirt.org with google authentication, creating double users which causes confusion (and more importantly - the inability to add me as a reviewer). The account I want to KEEP: amureini@redhat.com, authenticated by https://mureinik.id.fedoraproject.org/ (id: 1000110). Account to be MERGED into it: amureini@redhat.com, authenticated by google (id: 1001144), registered on Dec 26, 2015. Thanks in advance, Allon

I had same issue few month ago. We should fix this the configuration so logging in via multiple oauth2 providers will not create multiple accounts. On Sun, Jan 3, 2016 at 3:04 PM, Allon Mureinik <amureini@redhat.com> wrote:

And how would you know that two different oAuth2 identities are the same person? Without thinking too deeply about this it seems to me any heuristic you will choose will be fragile and allow for easy identity theft...

Leaving the discussion on heuristics aside, can someone please manually fix my account(s)? I have people emailing me because they can't add me as a reviewer... Thanks. On Sun, Jan 3, 2016 at 7:06 PM, Barak Korren <bkorren@redhat.com> wrote:

No heuristics needed. In gerrit user settings > identities, you can link your account to other email addresses. I expect that after linking my account to both gmail/redhat email addresses, that logging in via any of these addresses would use the same gerrit account. https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/settings/web-identities This is probably bug in gerrit, or configuration issue on our side.

I don't see what is the configuration issue or bug. Had he done this in advance there would be no problem, but since he already logged in with the other account, this may not work. Alon, please try this and see if it works for you. -- Barak Korren bkorren@redhat.com RHEV-CI Team

Hello Allon. I have just merged your accounts, so please check and let me know if it is now ok. Anton. On Thu, Jan 7, 2016 at 4:10 PM, Allon Mureinik <amureini@redhat.com> wrote:

Anton is the way to do this documented somewhere? I couldn't find it in infra-docs. On 8 January 2016 at 16:30, Anton Marchukov <amarchuk@redhat.com> wrote:
