alterway2 server ready

alterway2 server is ready (running centos 6.4) I want to start working on it, afair, we agreed to install ovirt 3.2 AIO[1] on it and start adding vms for jenkins-slaves as 1st step right? which rpms should i use? the only ones i saw was the nighly builds [2] [1] http://etherpad.ovirt.org/p/new_hosting_design_Jan_2013 [2] http://resources.ovirt.org/releases/nightly/rpm/EL/6/noarch/ Eyal.

IIRC, we weren't really going to Jenkins slaves there for the longer term, but I think it's OK to do it for now so we can do that migration. But we also want to have the other VMs up so we can e.g. close the Linode instance soon. (Jenkins infrastructure takes precedence.) ideal installation: ----------------------- 1 installation of ovirt AIO on F18 (so we can run nested vms there) - on alterway/raxs and all other servers can be added as hosts. so for e.g. raxs01 will be ovirt engine AIO (engine + host01) raxs02, alterway02 will be added as hosts to that engine. but i'm not sure how will hosts over the internet will function (in terms of latency and performance). so a more practical installation ---------------------------------- imo will be 2 AIO instances (one on F18, and on on centos). we can set up on alterway02 the listed services below, and keep raxs01 for jenkins slaves, since it's going to run on f18 it's better since we'll need nested vms for jenkins as well.
From the etherpad link below:
=== Host 2 - alterway02.ovirt.org? ===

While I'm waiting for my permissions at RackSpace to be tweaked so I can actually install an OS, I suppose we can discuss switching to these packages. i think its good to have both so we'll be able to test our 2 main supported OS for ovirt. f18 is a must since it supports nested vms, and centos is good casue it might be more stable os, and will give us the opportunity to test oVirt vms properly on a live system.

update: i started installing ovirt-engine + all-in-one plugin on alterway2. there is a problem - when installing all in one, you need to have the 'root' password of the host during setup. so we can't install it with sudo. I just tried to install ovirt-engine on my own VM from the ovirt beta and it looks like the jboss-as RPM is broken. error: unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/share/jboss-as-7.1.1.Final/modules/org/jboss/ironjacamar/impl/main/ironjacamar-common-impl-1.0.9.Final.jar;5144726c: cpio: read
