And did you clear out the cache/cookies there aswell before? The thing is. It WAS always visible before from the tests i did until you visited the actual login page. Thats when it disappeared. Hi, I committed a fix for this earlier today - I would appreciate it if people tested on various edge cases, I'm far from a PHP wizard. It is a servre side issue, should not be related to web client. Thanks! Dave. On 12/18/2012 01:37 PM, Alexander Rydekull wrote:

That sounds odd. You should only see that toolbar when logged in. So, if login now works for you ... you should be seeing the toolbar. There was one corner-case when a link was 'wiki.ovirt.org' instead of 'www.ovirt.org'. Being different URLs, the login cookie won't work between the two domains. You get the toolbar etc. by logging in to the wiki.ovirt.org URL as well (thus setting a new login cookie for that domain.) =2E.. but we just 'fixed' that by having the httpd rewrite all incoming *.ovirt.org to www.ovirt.org. You should *not* be able to pull up a page under the wiki.ovirt.org domain. But are you? Otherwise, I'd guess that Dave's fix somehow triggered the toolbar to disappear, which isn't happening to (at least) me. - Karsten --=20 Karsten 'quaid' Wade, Sr. Analyst - Community Growth http://TheOpenSourceWay.org .^\ http://community.redhat.com @quaid (identi.ca/twitter/IRC) \v' gpg: AD0E0C41 --------------enig185C2E048D63166E47E54873 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with undefined - http://www.enigmail.net/ iD8DBQFQ1ADo2ZIOBq0ODEERArDmAJsE8CP3g8A2DHgUtwaA2hjTEetTIACg1YzN b/++wTC38rPZWycJQM9669s= =oU4v -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig185C2E048D63166E47E54873--

I asked Michael to share the source of a page to see if it is a server-side or client-side issue - and the mark-up makes it to the client, so it is a client-side issue. I don't know what the browser/extensions/OS combination is, but it could be a Javascript or CSS issue.

I still get to http://wiki.ovirt.org/New_website_tasks - my "fix" didn't fix it. Need some mod_rewrite help :-)
Otherwise, I'd guess that Dave's fix somehow triggered the toolbar to disappear, which isn't happening to (at least) me.
No, it's definitely not a server side issue. He has the toolbar mark-up in the page. Cheers, Dave. -- Dave Neary - Community Action and Impact Open Source and Standards, Red Hat - http://community.redhat.com Ph: +33 9 50 71 55 62 / Cell: +33 6 77 01 92 13
