The only problem was it run using 'root' thus changing the ownership of the files inside the git repos and preventing from patches to be merged. chown -R gerrit2:gerrit2 on all the git repos in /usr/local/src/git fixed it. going foward we'll run the git-exprol only via jenkins job once or twice a week.
