Error when uploading files to Ovirt wiki

Hi, I get an error when trying to upload files to ovirt wiki. "The file you uploaded seems to be empty. This might be due to a typo in the filename. Please check whether you really want to upload this file." What can cause the problem? (Tried various files from various users). Alona.

Was this solved? We may have been out of disk space on the OpenShift instance; iirc Dave had to fix something last week? We need to figure out a better storage solution for the wiki. Credit where it's due, I believe Ewoud took that on while I was away, and got Apache logs compressed. The theme needs updating to resolve some lingering problems with PHP errors being generated. They've been fixed in Git, and Garrett plans to put some time aside to upgrade and deploy the updated theme. In the meantime, we are looking into setting up a staging copy of the server where we can test upgrades before pushing them live.

It's OpenShift, so S3 is an option for images. For Apache logs, the best solution is to fix the runaway logs issue and upgrade the theme. I've been uploading presentations, and I started thinking about this as well. How would the S3 option play out? Is there a way to start leveraging this now? -Theron ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Neary" <dneary@redhat.com> To: "Karsten 'quaid' Wade" <kwade@redhat.com> Cc: "Alona Kaplan" <alkaplan@redhat.com>, infra@ovirt.org Sent: Friday, May 17, 2013 4:03:44 AM Subject: Re: Error when uploading files to Ovirt wiki -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, On 05/17/2013 06:57 AM, Karsten 'quaid' Wade wrote:

I guess so - the S3 stuff uses the FUSE S3 driver - I don't even know if we have enough control over the OpenShift container to mount it. If we can figure it out, you should create an Amazon account for oVirt, connect it to Red Hat's AWS billing, and we should be set. Alternatively, we offload this to the OpenShift guys, and tell them we want S3-like storage for our wiki.
