Subject: nightly builds and tests of the ovirt-engine 3.3 branch
Hi all,
I suggest that we do nightly builds and tests of the 3.3 branch, similarly
to what we do for the master branch, at least until 3.3 is stabilized and
sees significantly fewer changes (compared to now). I was told that our
infrastructure can probably handle that. Comments/opinions/etc are welcome.
not sure what do you mean, afaik all jenkins jobs runs now on both branches
(ovirt-engine-3.3 + master).
also, there are specific jobs to build 3.3 rpms [1] and master rpms [2]
only thing missing is maybe building nightly 3.3 rpms, which i'm not sure what is the
purpose of it,
3.3 is getting only limited amount of patches right now, and who ever wants to build 3.3
can do it manually
from the git.
"the latest and greatest" is still master and nightlies are still prepared from
it.
