Testing oVirt Node on the new infrastructure

--=-ri1+DMjrRiuQ+CvXYmXz Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hey, now that the infrastructure is in place I wonder if it's possible to get a place where we can test oVirt Node. The "knackpunkt" ("crux of the matter") of our functional tests is, that VMs need to be spawned in which Node is setup. So it's basically the question if a potential VM would allow nesting, so that on-demand VMs could be spawned inside of it ... If it's not impossible to get such a VM I'd lay out the plan on what else is needed to setup the automated testing of Node. Hey,
now that the infrastructure is in place I wonder if it's possible to get a place where we can test oVirt Node. The "knackpunkt" ("crux of the matter") of our functional tests is, that VMs need to be spawned in which Node is setup. So it's basically the question if a potential VM would allow nesting, so that on-demand VMs could be spawned inside of it ...
If it's not impossible to get such a VM I'd lay out the plan on what else is needed to setup the automated testing of Node.
unfortunately, infra is not yet entirely in place. we still need to install jenkins master + libvirt/ovirt instance to run VMs. hopefully it will be done soon (during the next week). I'm currently testing nested vms in my team on fedora 18, so if it works, it will be no issue to add it once we'll have the infra running.
Greetings fabian

Ah okay - I didn't know how far it progressed - and made the wrong assumption ...

That sounds good - I'll try to keep my eyes open to poke in the right moment :) Thanks fabian --=-OyOwMj65TK22Kxyql+2S Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.13 (GNU/Linux) iQIcBAABAgAGBQJRE6KGAAoJEC9+uOgSHVGUFrcQAL02B2+p1Sk/5FWHJNiVRmqI XABQWbDYwoBn8XexR+Rv012lk5lUbR9mncy4/P2c10qpe30cgewJNe94aZzeISdQ X5OCR8waHX6uGPMNbmfVEXCNtkYkm3usnHyw6mcJXgltRaRqE+GI/BLX9tkswtxM qsGL1DDCJ7taV8HlEfxNwCYtnQSYtPZfMxi3oy2zNKQSZA4uH6jTHX8YXIaYoMkX +8AqPaYCu8aNbXo377+cG4iJCjUMmxi6pb+ygbk+ut6EdZ9w0pnhv57dfC3cePM5 nnwSsdNYjROOA9Ws2bkxeKRAZaTc5x7EiIFAbidYD1arSDiGbbYZhTUE/IpricZs h8QXSzP9rKYB4t85svqnMB6syRMAI1WlYVR97yNDZbr7tqXAIXEeC0+A4HnD0YRw IIgmyQ97GvOAeibl3DfILgLqZgRHTfKc8hHize9laHa1PJgs/LKHjzdod4BJQ3BO putcZ6mOzCneST5+SzsqIO7P9gX8N7yF3Br1GakwyLBfYlqIlozB+Ds/+ZZkW38+ XlVDi3IY3RBXeoxazsImUXEtlmYFepj/PGxeYM77JDZ9jjmjD8wXUSUDB2K5cRtc nB8NgIsBiX+vPo2xpImgD16c9AtCr9lfag1W6wlxTcp7+eIE7ib64oj78TXWIsEm b0AE70/riGwviNVHhW7R =jPHr -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-OyOwMj65TK22Kxyql+2S--
