Plus.line wants to become an oVirt mirror

Hello Infra team, I'm working for Plus.line, a medium-sized ISP based in Frankfurt, Germany. Plus.line offers hosting services, corporate networks and internet access. We are using oVirt for various projects and want to give something back to the community. We'd like to spend bandwith and offer you a mirror server in Germany. I have attached the necessary SSH public key. The FTP server is named ftp.plusline.net, offers FTP as well as HTTP and is accessible via IPv4 and IPv6. -- Kind regards Jan Siml System Architect Plus.line AG Mainzer Landstr. 199 60326 Frankfurt Internet - Hosting - MPLS VPN Tel.: +49 69 758915-75 Fax : +49 69 758915-33 WWW: http://www.plusline.net Handelsregister: HRB 53629 Amtsgericht Frankfurt a. Hello Jan. Thanks for your help with mirroring. I have just added your key to our server, so you should now be able to perform rsync as described on http://www.ovirt.org/Repository_mirrors Please try that and let us know if you have any problems. If that works, please send the links to http and ftp locations on you server, so we can update our mirrors page. Anton. On Mon, Sep 7, 2015 at 8:03 PM, Jan Siml <jsiml@plusline.net> wrote:

Hello,
After a few days checking that it's ok, you can add it to the mirrorlist file used to generate the mirrors for yum, it's somewhere at repos under resources
From our point of view everything is fine and synced. If you wish you can add the download locations to mirrorlist file and the various Wiki pages (Download, Mirror, etc.).
For your convenience I have compiled the necessary informations -- because I had to check it anyway: FTP: ftp://ftp.plusline.net/pub/ovirt/ HTTP: http://ftp.plusline.net/ovirt/ And for the Wiki pages: Name: Plus.line AG (http://www.plusline.net/en/) Location: Germany (Frankfurt) URLs: see above Contact: ftp-admin@plusline.net Direct links to versions for Download page: oVirt 3.5: http://ftp.plusline.net/ovirt/ovirt-3.5/ oVirt 3.5 Nightly: http://ftp.plusline.net/ovirt/ovirt-3.5-snapshot/ oVirt 3.6 Nightly: http://ftp.plusline.net/ovirt/ovirt-master-snapshot/ FTP Site: ftp://ftp.plusline.net/pub/ovirt/ -- Kind regards Jan Siml

Hi Jan, After testing it for a few days, everything seems fine and I've added the site to the mirror list, I'll update the web pages later today. Thanks for your help Nadav. On Mon, Sep 14, 2015 at 11:34 AM, Jan Siml <jsiml@plusline.net> wrote:

Hello Nadav, thanks for adding the mirror. Just one more thing: We also offer public rsync service [1]. If you think it might be interesting for users, then you can add this information to the web pages too.
