Hi,
I recently did a fresh install with CentOS 6.5 (includes the qemu
requirements) as ovirt hosts. This requires ovirt 3.3.2? because of the
patch mentioned above to allow VMs to use mount. Gluster domain seems to
work without any issues, I saw the bug on snapshots so I dare not touch it
yet :D
I did some small benchmarks though, my replica install actually out
performed an exact same setup without gluster..
In short; it works to an extent!

There are a couple of hackish patches linked to "Bug 1022961 - Running a
VM from a gluster domain uses mount instead of gluster URI", but a
proper solution, that would work with VMs with snapshots, requires much
more work on libvirt and Vdsm side.
