activated. ?

is required for 4K storage to work with
oVirt.
These fixes will be part of CentOS 7.7 batch update 2
My VDO does not have the 'emulate512' flag set.

I believe so, because you can't change the block size of VDO on the fly.
So my guess is that you are running fortunate with 4K VDO volume

As state above, this is not possible.
Once VDO volume is created, its block size
can't be changed dynamically.
