correct. Skylake-server I guess.
Cascade Lake specific features could only be used in VMs after CL is
supported by libvirt (
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1677209) and this
libvirt is imported in oVirt? We're thinking about buying new hardware and I want to
be sure it can be used…
it’s going to run just fine, only the cascade lake specific new instructions won’t be
available to the VMs until they are supported by libvirt&qemu. That will likely arrive
in 4.4.
