Yes, infact I am trying your 2.7-0 and 2.7-1 under firefox 16.01 and
unfortunately it crashes always.
If you have right sources I can try to compile it on my own.
This is the repo I set up to feed the ppa:
https://github.com/jasonbrooks/spice-xpi-ppa
I had to set it up like this because the main spice repo uses
submodules, and launchpad doesn't support those.
