[ovirt-users] Edit/Change MAC Address Pools

According to this link: https://www.ovirt.org/documentation/administration_guide/index.html#sect-..., we can edit the MAC address pool. Question: If I edit the MAC address pool, what effect will it have on the existing VMs' MAC addresses? Is there any mention in the documentation or elsewhere that indicates this change could be harmful to current configurations?
