Yes, Newer CPU types have
additional instruction sets, which (some)
programs can benefit from.

You need to select the lowest common CPU type for both servers.

(Nehalem Class Core i7)" however same host in vmware shows " Intel(R) Xeon(R)

How we can fix this CPu model name.
What CPU's are there in your servers?
Anyway, the model name does not really matter.
