I don't understand your setup or your problem. You should give much
more details,
and attach engine and vdsm logs showing the failed operation.
Please share with us:
/var/log/ovirt-engine/engine.log - on the engine machine
/var/log/vdsm/vdsm.log - in the spm host or the host that failed
