To answer your question Michael , i'm trying to configure a different ip outside of my dhcp pool. The dhcp ip is 10.0.0.245 from the range 10.0.0.245-10.0.0.250 and i want to configure the ip 10.0.0.9 as the hosts ip "One thing to note if you are changing the IP to different one that was assigned by DHCP you should uncheck "Verify connectivity between Host and Engine"" Ales, i also tried to follow your advise and uncheck the "Verify connectivity between Host and Engine" as proposed. This makes sure that the engine won't lost connectivity and in case of switching IP it happens. For non-SPM host this will work fine as well when the host is UP.
