My test scenario is as follows: Two physical machines in a cluster are not configured with
power management, and VMS are enabled with high availability.
After a host is stopped, VMS restart on other physical servers. The physical machine that
was stopped then started back, found that there was no abnormal.
I was wondering under what conditions you said there might be problems with the storage
layer ?

It is possible, but without the SPM host being fenced you won't be able to do any
storage-related tasks. Even snapahot management will be impossible withoutmanual
intervention (reboot the host from the remote management and then mark the host as
restarted).
