Unfortunately I've encountered the same issue. I've decided to stay on
qemu-kvm-9.0.0-4.el9 and restarted all VMs on hosts with the new
version.
However, the update from 9.0.0-4 to 9.0.0-6 was flawless and did not
break VM live migration.
