Question: If I edit the MAC address pool, what effect will it have on the existing
VMs' MAC addresses?
Is there any mention in the documentation or elsewhere that indicates this change could be
harmful to current configurations?
Hi.
The change only applies to interfaces added after the change, i.e., it does
not impact current interfaces.
What may happen is that you get a warning that the old (current) MACs are
outside the pool scope, but this is not a problem, just a warning.
Usually, when I deploy a new cluster, I change the MAC pool, precisely to
avoid overlapping MACs (this has happened to me).
