Every time i reboot one of my nodes eth0 eth1 and eth2 gets re-arranged,
this really messes with the network configuration.
I am running the ovirt-node 2.3 iso image. I havent had this issue with
earlier installs of debian/fedora etc.
any way to fix this besides getting new hardware?

Make sure the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-* files have the mac
addresses for your nics in the order you want them in. If they do they
it should keep the order upon reboot.

Also make sure the ifcfg* mappings match with the entries in
/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
