and installing package "mlnx-ofed-basic".
In Ovirt Node it's not possible, that package require dependencies from
CentOS 8 repos, not present in ovirt repo.
Is there any chances to have infiniband NICs working in ovirt?
Solutions:
1) You can use CentOS 8 hosts instead of oVirt Node 4.4 hosts
2) You can:
- manually enable CentOS repos on oVirt Node 4.4 host within
/etc/yum.repos.d/
- yum install the mellanox package and all the required dependencies
- disable the repos you enabled previously.
The packages installed during this step will be persisted on oVirt Node
upgrades..
I would consider solution 1 for your specific case.
