There was a bug opened for this and after a discussion it was decided to close it: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=889856 I agree that the thread in the engine log is difficult to read but there are the host deploy logs which are easy to read so this is no longer a big issue... I think that it's a bug that the user sees an error about SSH, while the real problem is with yum. What do you think? If you look at the event log in UI while selecting the host you can find
