Okay, I was assuming your vm already has IP configured. How did you install the vm? Did you clone it from a template? One way to provide IP Configuration for VMs is Cloud-Init which you can use via GUI ("Run Once" Mode->"Initial Run" Select Cloud-Init -> Fill in network configuration) or via API/SDK. however for cloud-init you need cloud-init installed inside the vm (at least version 0.7.2), so it can configure the ips automatically. some documentation can be found here: http://www.ovirt.org/Features/Cloud-Init_Integration HTH Am 15.04.2014 09:51, schrieb Udaya Kiran P:
Hi Sven,
I am trying to open the console for VM using SPICE, which fails with an error - Unable to connect to libvirt with URI[none].
I think it is because the VM hasn't been assigned an IP by the engine. What settings I am missing here? Do I need to change any network settings so that VMs get their IP during their creation?
Please suggest.
I have attached the screenshots.
Appreciate your help..!!
