I searched google and found there is no way to assign a static IP to VM until 2012, in http://lists.ovirt.org/pipermail/users/2012-May/007559.html;
Is there any solution to assign static IP now?
You can use cloud-init to provision an IP address to a machine. Or integration with OpenStack Neutron would probably allow for that too (via DHCP I imagine). Any reason why you don't just use static DHCP leases?
