why are you still using centos 6? IIRC centos 6 is not supported anymore as vdsm related problems. you have manual here : http://www.ovirt.org/documentation/quickstart/quickstart-guide/ you can use guidance from http://www.ovirt.org/blog/2016/08/up-and-running-with-ovirt-4-0-and-gluster-... to have an idea as well.. I have tried below steps to setup ovirt-engine on centos 6 os. Please help me to install ovirt engine on my machine.
Steps: 1> Install "ovirt relase 40 rpm" Download from http://plain.resources.ovirt.org/pub/yum-repo/ovirt- release40.rpm
2> executed command "postgresql-setup initdb" --- output --- Initializing database ... OK ------------------
3> executed command "systemctl restart postgresql.service"
