Misbehaving server has Xeon 5110 1.60 GHz CPU (VM's System Properties shows it as Intel Celeron_4x0 (Conroe/Merom Class Core 2)) and ovirt 3.0.0, and a working server has Xeon E5620 2.40GHz CPU (Westmere E56xx/L56xx/X56xx (Nehalem-C)) and recent ovirt git snapshot (from May 30).
