I first received news about the RHEV and OpenShift convergence from my Red Hat TAM at one
of my jobs.
However, a quick search on Google produces this:

Moving forward the RHV management feature set will be converged with OpenShift and
OpenShift Virtualization providing customers with requirements for containers and VMs a
migration path and a common platform for deploying and managing both.
