It is requiring me to make the storage network a VM network. But, besides t= he Engine using it to be able to communicate with the storage servers, it i= s not a VM network. So, that it where I question what I should do. Just mak= e the storage network a VM network for the sake of the Engine VM? So, this answers a question I have had. The requirements for the Engine are= similar in nature as vSphere's VCenter server, where the VCenter server ha= s to have a direct connection to the storage networks. Makes sense, they ha= ve to be managed by the Engine. I wasn't sure if the Engine somehow used th= e host's network connection without having its own. Then, what I need to know, is how to go about connecting the storage networ= k to the Engine VM? I have not found this in documentation. Also, do I need to do the same thing for the Engine's storage network (192.= 168.3.x)? Or, is that supposed to have been done already, as part of setup? I have looked around in the Manager and attempted to add an interface for t= he VM storage network (192.168.2.x) for the Engine. I believe I was met wit= h resistance. I feel as though I may have been going about it wrong.
