Initially I assumed this was a path I was taking that was not standard.. but now I think this is some ovirt vs CentOS package repo issue. I had a similar iussue.. my "solution" was to add: exclude=cockpit-* in the BaseOS repo definition file in /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory.
