In Vm/Template edit dialog see the "Initial Run" configuration. It will be applied on first start of the VM. Alternatively, you can apply the configuration in "Run Once" dialog when starting a VM. The configuration differes depending on the OS of your VM: Linux (cloud-init) or Windows (sysprep). Tomas
