you need to define the custom property for the new version as well, if
you want keep using it. Or remove it from all VMs. It’s not in GUI,
check engine-config parameters, you likely have the custom property
for macspoof defined for <=4.0 only.

Thanks. I do see a host hook defined for macspoof but I'm working
around the error by migrating VMs to a different cluster which has a
higher compatibility level set.
