Hey man, what's up? So... I use 4 FC cables (2 per controller) connected from Storage to FC Switch. From this FC Switch I connect my hosts with 4 FC cables. The more cables from Storage to Switch, the more throughout you will get. That way I can use multipath. So when I drop an FC cable or a Storage controller, I wouldn't lose connection. In this way it is also possible to use all virtualization technologies, such as LUN migration between Storage and/or Live Migration.
